You mifconceive thedifference betwixt Gods fecret will and his revealed will,and ignorantly feigne a contrariety and contradiction where there is none. You mull therefore know, that Gods revealed will teacheth men upon what terms or con- ditions he is willing to bellow eternal' life upon them, namely upon the condition of their repenting, believing and perfevering. And under thefe conditions God doth not onelydefire the falvation of fome men out ofevery fort, but ofevery particular man in every fort of men.
