Dan. 6. to. yet now all fuch di- flinCion and difference of place ,being but ceremo- nial!, is abolifhed. For that one place ofprayer and facrifice was a type of Chrift Jefus the alone altar; and the praying in or towards the fame did figure out thus much,That onely in the mediation of f efus Chrifl, who is the onely Mediatour both of redem- ption and allo of interceffion, we are to call upon the Lord:Wherefore feeing thefe were but fhadows and ceremonies of things to come, and feeing the fubflance and truth it felf, Jefus Chrif}, is already exhibited, whereunto the fhadows and ceremonies do and ought to give place; we are not now tied to one place more then another, as one being more typically holy then another.
