314 Of the shatter and manner of our obedience. Wants to be bewailed. The defets therefore which we are to bewail are thefe : i. Our inability through our own default to perform obedience to the will of God. 2. Our proneneffe to finne and to tranfgrefïe the will of God, being furred thereunto by every occafion. By our corrupt nature we are as apt to finne as a bird to flie. 3. The frowardneffe of our wills, rebelling againft the will of God, Rom.. 2 3. and our prepo- flerous affet1ions, the law in the members.
