In true fenfe therefore of this our want we are to pray that it may be fupplied by the contrary gifts; namely, that God would be pleafed to give unto us that portion of temporali benefits which he know - eth to be moli fit and convenient for us; and to that end that he would bleffe our means for the obtein- ing of that which we have not, and alto grant unto us the ufe of that which we haves and lafUly, that he would bleffe the ufe thereof unto us, making them effetuall to our good. 2.
