is

a

fingularly good companion,

the

worth

and benefit

whereof

is

not

readily

fo

well known

till

men

be

brought

into force

clearly

as we

may

fee

Pauls

cafe

here,who

being

arraign'd be-

fore the tribunal

of

heathen

judge,

enemies,

his

own nation having

among

other

grounds

of

confolation

and

defence

that

he

hath to

fuf

ain

himfelf

by,

Confcience

witnefs,

that it

was

his endeavour and work

to

God and men,

might not

have a

challenge
