And therefore Chrift bids us take heed to our hearts, even in our aimes and prayers:, and other the holieft Cervices we can poflìbly performe, for even in them flares will be let for uF. In thefe aeons we had need (hut the doore of our hearts hat our minds fteale not away from God. Never then trult thou this heart of thine , that it will bee well ordercd,and kept in good frame, though thou carry not alwayes fo heavie a hand and nart-ow an eye over it : No, if thou look not thus firaighcly co it, it will be gone, as a wild home, if a man once let goe the bridle , as he is walking in his journey : And then when hee is once gone, hee will not bee gotten againe in haft; but a man muff fpend as much time in recovering of him, as would haply have been fufhcienc to have difpatched the whole journey.
