Every man vvould be glad to be faved by grace, but they love not that grace fhould teach them : novv grace faveth none, but vvhom it teacheth ; it firít teacheth them, and then fave h them. Novv it teacheth us, as the Apoftle faith, three leffons. Firít, Quidvitandum, vvhat vve are to fhon : ungodliaefi, andworldly lufft. Then Secondly, it teacheth us, Quid faciendum, vvhat vve are to do, to live foberÿ, and juflly, and pioufly in this prefeneworld.
