What rules are to helpe us in the right unelerflanding of the Law ? A. Thirdly, when it forbiddeth or commandeth any thing, it forbiddeth or com- ímandeth all meanes, occalions, or provocations thereunto ; and therefore the leaft lalcivious looke, is Adultery, Math.5.28. 1 The lean hatred, is Murther, 1 Jeh.3.1 5. Fourthly, whatfoever the Law forbiddeth it commandeth the contrary 1 Pet.3.1 t. Whatfoever it commandeth, it forbiddeth the contrary, Levit. 1 19.17.
