THis is one of Pm1t's Prayers, and (as I take it) at this 2oth Verfe doth this Prayer of his end ; for the refi is but a Doctrinal enlargment of · what he faicllafi concerning Chrifi's exaltation. I have divided this Prayer into two parts. Firfi, The Perfon that he prayeth to, That the God of our Lord .7efm Chrifl, the Father of Glory. When he would pray for all thefe glorious things, he thus fiyleth God, reprefenteth God under thefe con!iderations to his Faith, The God of our Lord .7efiu Chrifl, tht Father of glory. Secondly, Here are the things he prayeth for. Calli11g, (fo at verfe 1 8.) that is; what grounds from the Calling of God they had to hope for Eternal life, and to fee their interefi by them.
