Again, If God would have the whole of Glory inrirely to and for himfelf, tbefe empty nothingnelfes are full y fitted to give it to all wholly to him; and to entertain h1m upon his own terms of being glorified as himfelf can of Crea– tures. But above all ·, thefe are prepared to give him the Glory of his Grace, which is this Condition will be fure to be acknowledged, and to be adored as the Donour and Founder of all unto them. To Conclude; there is not, nor could there have been a greater demon– flrationgiven, that God had no refpect to what is in us, for which be chafe us, than that he fhould defign, together with his chooling us, to bring us , ( in the deepel\ fenfeof our own hearts) unto this utter emptinefs ofall refpect for which God fhould regard us; and choofe out this as the highel\ and mo{\ pleating frame or qualification of Heart in us, upon which he fhould promife, to come and dwell in us, or rather declare, that he cloth dwell in us.
