And there- fore let us all labour thus to intereft our felves in Gods Covenant, for hereby {hall we have intereft in all Gods Promifes, as in fo many pillars to fupport us, as in fama- ny wel-fprings to refrefh us in all the creatures; as in fo many 'Servants, to tninifter their aüiftance to us ; in all the Ordinance; of God, as. in fo many Starres to enlighten us, as in fo many ditties of fpirituall dainties to feed us, as in fo many heavenly Bethefda's to heale us, and in all the attributes of God, as in fo many branches of the tree of life to fhelter and ihadow us, intereft in the power of God to uphold us, in the wifedome of God to guide us, in the mercy of God to pardon us, in the prefenccof God to encourage us, in the love of ,God to folace us, and in the All-faiticiency of God every way to fatisfie and con- tent us. Sweet and fare, full and cverlafting , joyous and Honourable are the Prerogatives and comforts which arc ob- tained by intereft in Gods Covenant. 'CHAP.
