Good Ned-Sence you keep the brittell ringe tell it brake, I haue sent youon of a more dureing substance, and that you may knowe I haue worne it, I haue left the riben vpon it, which did healp to make it fite for my finger ; and keepe this, tell I giue you a better. I be- ceach the Lord to bless you, with thos choys blessings, with which I desire my owne soule should be bllessed with. My deare Ned, be wacthfull that you grow not slake in keepeing the saboth, and in the performeingof priuet dutyes. O it is a sweet thinge to haue priuet conferance with our God, to hom we may make knowne all our wants, all our foolyes, and discouer all our weakeness, in acurance that he will supply our wants, and will not abrade vs with our infer- metys. I thanke God your father is well, and so is your brothers and sisters with your cosen Smith.
