Not his Confcience, or the danger his Soul is in, or the impofiiaility of his encreafe .in all goodnefs, or the leaft improbability of his obtaining Salvation in it; for thefe are not here pleaded, nor will you al- lege them: But only, He does not think every thing in the Conaitution fo ex- adly well as it might be. Nor is it necefi-ary He thould do fo: He may live in the Communion of it without this ; He may do all poflible. good in the World, and dye a happy death, without it. This you know, that many as great' and excellent Perlons as ever belonged to this Church, have not thought it fo perfeci as to need no amendments; have fpoken and written, and very warmly argued for Amendments ; and yet have lived conflantly in the Communion of it, and been moil ufeful and honourable MeMbers of it.
