And fuppofing two Churches equally imperfet, Both not the Obligation to Communion, on many accounts, lie manifeffly on the fide of the Eflablifhed Church? Nay, doth it not manifefly lie on that fide, even fup- pofing the feparate Church fomewhat the perfecter of the two? Permit me to ask you one Quefion more, and that is this, If the Caufe you are engaged in, the ref: fing Reformation and Amendments, be a good Reafon for Separation, or lay an Ob- ligation upon you tofeparate, why doyou. notfeparate fromyour own Churches, in order to bring them to perfection ? Either your Churches are perfect; or you make a irangedifference in your behaviour to- wards the EflablifhedChurch, and towards them. Ifyou fay not that they are perfect, it mull remain fill unaccountable, that you should make that a reafon for joining together infeparate Churches, which is as much a reafon for feparating from thefe feparate Churches, as it is for your fepara- ting from the Church of England.
