98 The Reafnablenefs the Vfe of what is as much an addition to Chrift's Inftitution, as Kneeling is. And, therefore, if it be not unlawful to ufe any other Pofture confiantly, it is not unlaw- ful toufe ¡(peeling confiantly. I might infiance alfo in all the Prayers you make ufe of, at the Celebration of the Lord's Supper, fince our Lordappointed none in his Inftitutionofit; which wasonly, That we Ihould eat and drink in remembrance ofHim ? and this we may do without one Lingle Prayer. Every Prayer, there- fore, that you ufe at this Solemnity, is a reflexion upon our Lord's Inftitution, and reprefents it as defective, and not orderly, or decent withoutfuch additions; as doth, every Prayer that you ufe at the Laptifmn of a Child, without which it is ascomplete as with it, and without one word of which Chrift inflituted it. Now, you can no more conftantly Communicate in the Sacra- ment with your own Churches, without the confiant ufe of fuch additional Pray- than you can Communicate with the Church of Englandwithout ¡(peeling; and fo, your Con!' communion with your own Churches as effeaually reprefents Chrift's Inftitution as defeiaive, as your 4antrant 'corn/uriimta with the church of England
