By Paying this, and declaring this to be one of the Circumfiances which makeConflant Communion with the Church of England unlawful , You condemn the greateft part of your Brethren, and your People ; all thofe who never com- municate occafionally ; and all thofe who communicate never, but when an Office is concerned. Either, therefore, (peak out, and let your People know, that they live in a continued fin, whilfr they keep conflantly to You, and never oc- cafionally communicate with the Church of England ; or elfe, acknowledge that to Communicate conflantly with a Church, is not to confine our Charity to a Party &c. or that it is not unlawful fo to do ; and confequently , that confiant Com- munion with the Church of England is not, on this account, unlawful. But, now we are upon this fubjea, I muff not forget one very remarkable Circumflanceofyour Occafional Communion; and that fuch an one, as is not imagi- nary, but certain, and acknowledged on all hands ; and which muff, I think, according to your way of arguing a- gainif Confiant Communion , render it unlawful.
