You argue, that you are indifpenfablyobliged to confult your own fpiritual Profit and Improve- ment ; that this you cannot do fo well, by conforming conflantly to the Church EJtablifhed, as by frequenting Separate Afemblies ; and that, therefore,you think your felves under an obligation to Se- parate from theChurch of England. This I take to be an Argument the moli uni- verfally received, and the moli heartily embraced, of any that concern your Se- . paration ; and, therefore I (hall be the more careful to examine the full force of it. And, under this Head, I hope to thew you, 1. That there is nothing wanting in the Coniiitution of the Church of England, that you can fuppofe necffary toyour pri- vate Edification. 2. That after your private Edification is To far cordulted, it is your Duty to re- gard the publick Edification of the whole Church of Chrifi. 3.
