But it is wonderful to hear this divine Virtue alleged againfh the reafonablenefs of Conftant Conformity; when it is fo very evident, that there is not one Tingle Branch of it, but what may be duly, and punaually performed by a Chri- ian, in Communion with the Church of England. Nay, I wilt add, that this Grace may be praaifed, in greater ex- ~ tent, by fuch an one, than it can be by any who give encouragement to Separa- tion from it : becaufe theformer or negleas no part of Charity which the other pra- aifes ; and, betides this, thews a fa- cred regard to Publick Peace, by giving no Encouragement to any thing that is the occafion of Vncharitablenefs, or Di- fturbance, amonglc Chrifrians ; which feems to be one of the ñrtr, and princi- pal Branches of Charity ; and which the Perfon who thinks Conslant Communion with this particular Church not worthy of his Regard cannot be faid to do.
