T. 24. where hee faith, by faith yow hand, itis faith that gives foot-hold to all graces; wehave weake patience, but faith gives patience ftrength andfoot-hold ; for it goes out to the Lord Jefus, and receives fapand life from him, whereby every grace comes to flourith in the foule; r Pet, r.9.
