HERE is :Wifdom and Goodnefs appears on God's Part, in making fuch an ufeful, convement, and neceffary Door. 2. Here is great Encouragement for all to feek, to find, cfpecially the Poor and them that have a real Mind to be happy. A Servant is one chofcn to Office. If Men haveWork or Bufinefs to do, they chufe one to be their Servanr, whom they think fitly qualified, and able to do it. I I!. A Servant is a Name of Subordination and Subjection, it refpeCl:s an Office of an inferior Raok and Quality. III. A Servant is one that hath a Tru!l: committed to him, by a Ma!l:er or Superior, to whom he is to be accountable. PARALL E.L. I. CHRIST was chofen by the Fatl1er, not to one Office only, but to many, to be a Me– diator, King, Pridt, and Prophet. Behold my Ser– .vant whom I have chofen, Ifa. xliii. 10. He was every way furnifhed and fitly qualified for the great Work appointed for him. I have laid Help upon one that is mighty : I ha'Je exalted one chofen out of the People, Pfal. lxxxix. '9· 11. A Servant is oftentimesemIV.
