The Grace of the Gofpel makes a Man behold a Beauty and Glory in the Gofpel, to love it, and to fuffer for it. '1 he Gofpel is worth little in the ftght and efteem of that Man, that has not the G race of the Gofpel. For the Proiellion of the Gofpel without the Grace of the Gofpel will do a Man no good; it is but the Name without the Nature; the Cabinet without the Jewel; the Lamp '~ithout the Oil. 15. The Grace of the Gofpel makes Men like to Chrifl:, to love Chrift, and to die for Chrifl:. 16. Gofpel Grace makes Men to live to God; they live to themfelves that have it not; they live to God that have it.
