They ought to examine themltlves; it require; due Preparation, which dotl• confift in thrfe four or five Particulars. 1. A fincere Confeflion of thofe Sins, which we find out.upon diligent Search and Examination. 2. Godly Sorrow for the fame, manifefted by ptHting away the Filth of the Flefh. We muft come with clean Hands, and a pure Heart. ·3· ·w.e ought to forgive thofe who have offended us. Chrift commands us to be reconciled to our Brother.
