THEMorning comes after the N ight is gone: So tl1e RefurreCl:ion will come after the Night of rhis World is gone; the Time of this World's Continuance is called Night in the holy Scriptures: The Night is far jpent, &c. II. The Morning is longed for; many watch and long for rhe Morning: So the Godly long for the RefurreCtion; all the Faithful ever waited for, and greatly deGred that Day. HI. The Morning brings Light, and makes Things manifefl:, which lie hid, or ap– pear not.what they are in themfelves, in the ·Night Time: So the RefurreCtion will make manifefl: all rhe hidden Things of Darknds, which appear not to the Sight of Men ;· that glorious Morning will··foon difcover all. I. It will make manifeft all the horrid and curled Deflgns of the Ungodly, which they from time to rime have contrivtd, and endtavored to carry on againft rhe Saints and Church of God, many of which God in his gracious Providence prevented from taking Place, and fo they were never known; but that Morning Light will difcover all thofe hidden Things of Darknefs. 2. The Light of that Morning will difcover all the Secrets of every Man's Heart ; all the Evil, Lufl:, l!nvy, Pride, Revenge, &c. or what elfe hath been harbored in the Bofoms of Men. See I Cor. iv. 5· 3· It will difcover all the filthy ACtions and Abominations of rhe Wicked, that are not known w M en, nor fir to .be mentioned :.For it is a Shame to jpeak of thofe Things that are done of them i11jecret, Eph. v. 12 . 4· That Morning will difcover all Perfon1, .as well .as Things ; then it will appear who are God's People, and who are not; who they were that ferved .God in Truth, and w.ho -were Hypocrites, &c.
