All Creatures have their Refuges, the Heirs of Salvation are defcribed eb be thole, that fly for Refuge to lay hold upon the Hope that is let before them, Heb. 6. 18. Now, what is their Refuge ? Prov. 18. to. The Name of the Lord is a gong Tower : the Rigbteoo, rnimeth into it, and is fafe. At Babel, to fecure thenifelves, they would build a high and ffrong Tower, Gen. t 1.3, 4. We have a ftrong Tower built to our hands : We that are at continual War, fhould have a place of retreat ; here is a Cure one, you have it without colt, you need in the hour of Temptation to make fpeed to it. What is this running, but pleading his Faithfulnefs, looking up to his Power, magnifying his Grace in your Dependance. Thofe that go forth in the ftrength of their own Refolutions, are fure'to mifcarry, as Peter was a fad inliance. 2. To Confidence. We may boaft of his Name.
