The Reiteration Iheweth his Care; let than be as we are and the Glory which than haft given me, I have given them. What Refemblance is there between us and Chrift ? I. Between us and Chrift as the Eternal Son of God. 2. Between us and Chrial as Mediator. I. Between us and Chrift as the Eternal Son of God. Chrift is the Effential lmagá of the Father, therefore called the Image of the Invifible Gad, Col. r. s5. and the Cha-. rafter or exprefs Image of his Perfon, Heb. s. 3. and we are God's Image by Refle&ion. if there be two or three Suns appear, one or two are but a Refte&ion. There are force ftriflures in us. Chrift is one with the Father, and we with him; a poor Chri- flian, tho never fo mean, is one with Chrift. Chrift is called God's Fellow, Zech. 13. 7. and every Saint is Chrift's Fellow. PCal. 45.7. God, even thy God, bath anointed Mee with the Oil of Gladnefi above thy Fellows. The Father loveth him, becaufe he is the exprefs Image of his Perfon ; and the Father delightsin the Saints, becaufe they are the Image of Chrift, the Father himfelf loveth you, John 16. 28. A Man that loveth another, he loveth Head and Members with the Cams Love. Chrift is the Son of God, fo are we ; it was his Eternal Right and Privilege, our Title cometh by him. . Chrifti after he,died, role again, and fo do we; the fame Spirit raifeth us, that railed Chrift. He aCcended into Heaven, accompanied with Angels ; fo are we carried by the Angels into Abraham's Bofom. In Heaven he liveth bleffedly and glorioufly, fo do we. Chrift" hath a Kingdom, fo have we.
