Some- thing will be expeífed,as to thepraaical Improvement of thefeTruths. Let me therefore only repeat and reinculcate tome few of the general Heads of Things, which have been doarinally cleared and made out, I (hall but touch them now in a moreapplicatory Way. I. Be perfwaded and encouraged, tofeed andfeafi upon Chrift our Peace- Offering. Do not fay, fuch and euch may, if I had fuch Parts and fuch Abilities, and fo Eminent as fuch and fuch, I durft believe. This blefl'ed Peace - Offering is not for the Priefts only, for Saints of the higheft Rank, and greateft Eminency ; but for the common People alfo. Do but draw near with a pure Heart, and then come and wel- come : Take your Share, and eat it with a glad Heart, God bath gi- ven it you. 2. Do not defer the eating ofyour Peace- Offerings : Take heed of a procraftinating Spirit. As many who think to repent and return to God when they are dying, and dropping into Hell, whereas they fhould eat the Peace -Offering, and eat it now. Do it to Day before to mor- row, or at leaft before the third Day ; for then the Peace-Offeringwill riot be accepted. Come in to God the third Hour of the Day, or if thou haft loft that Seafon, yet come in at the fixth, the ninth, at leaft at the eleventh hour of the Day. If you thy till the Sun be fet, and the Day of the Lord's Patience run out, then your Peace- Offerings (hall not be accepted, then thy Repentance will not fave thee, Oh ! But I will cry God mercy, and truft to Chr.ift then. Ay but thy Confcience then will fay, you Mould have eaten the Peace- Offering fooner ; eating it the third Day !hall not be accepted ; nor will catching at Chrift when thou art gone to Hell. Oh tben that thou hadit known in this thyDay, the 7hiugs belonging to thy Peace, Luke 39. 42. 3. Let all your Peace-Offerings be feafoned with the new Leaven of Grace and Holinefs ; get this blefed Leaven of the Kingdom of God into your Hea; ts. 4.
