The myftery of the Incarnation of the Son of God being above their comprehenfion, and their Subjection toChrift as Mediator being not included originally within the Lawof their Crea- tion; therefore they learn this Myftery from the Church. 7. The Chariot of the Cberubims, i t Chron. 28. 16. is' the motions of Providence. TheThrone of God s defcribed with Wheels, Dan. 7.9. Ezek. t. 160.6. and t o. t, z. the Throne hath Wheels. Some think the other twoCherubims that were betide the Ark, flood not upon the Golden Pavement of theOracle, but upon a Chariot and Wheels; from whence that Expreffion, [the Chariot of the Cherubims]. However they are fo reprefented in Ezekiel's Vifion, cap. t. there be not only living Creatures, that is, Angels; but Wheels, that is, Motions, Turnings, Revolutions of .Providence.
