Their next meeting to be a't Sion college, May 6. at two i11 the afternoon. At the fecond feffions it was moved, that application be made to par~ 'liament, for liberty to remove the affembly from the convocation houfe to fame other place; and accordingly they were allowed to adjourn to any place within the city m· liberties of London, upon which they agreed up– on Sion college, where they continued to meet twice a week to the end of the year 1659· as appears by a manufcript of the late Mr. Grange, now in Sion college library. Before their adjournment from the convocation hozife at St. Paul's, they came to the following refolutions ; rejolved, ·Gen. rules I. That the provincial affembly fhall meet twice every week, Mon~ .for the prodays and 'Ihur[days. lllinciala.Jfem. 2. That the moderator for the time being fhall begin and end every feffion with prayer. . 3· When a new moderator is to be chofen tbe fenior miniller {hall prelide. 4· The moderator lhall be fubjeB: to the cenfure of the majority of the affembly, in cafe of complaint, and lhall leave the chair while the com– plaint is debating, and the fenior minifi:er ·lba!l prefide. 5· Every one that fpeaks fhall direCt his fpeech to the moderator, and ·be uncovered. 6. No man fualHpeak above three times to the fame quefi:ion at one {effions. 7· When any bufinefs is before the affembly relating to any particular member, he lhall withdraw, if defired by the majority. . 8. After the affembly is fet, no member fuall withdraw without leave. 9· The names of !he members prefe~tfhall be recorded by the fcribes. Every
