And this muff diligently be confidered, that by our regard by Faith unto the Blood, the Sacrifice, the Satisfa&ion of Chrift, we take off nothing from the free Grace, Favour and Love of' God. 3. All thofe wherein the Wifdom of God, in the contri- vance of this way of Juftification and Salvation is propofed unto us ; Ephef. I. 7, 8. In whom we have Redemption through his blood, the forgiven f? of fins, according to the Riches of his Grace, wherein he bath abounded towards its in all Wifdom and Vnderffanding. See chap. 3. io, I I. i Cor. i. 24. The whole is comprized in that of the Apoftle ; God was in Chrifi reconciling the World unto hinifelf, not imputing their TrefJaes unto them, 2 Cor. 5. 19. All that is done in our Re- conciliation unto God, as unto the pardon of our fins, and Acceptance with him unto Life, was by the prefence of God in his Grace, Wifdom, and Power in Chrift, defigning and effeting of it. Wherefore the Lord Chrift propofed in the Promife of the Gofpel as the Obje& of our Faith unto the Juftification of Life, is confidered as the Ordinance of God unto that End. Hence the Love, the Grace, and the Wifdom of God in the fènding and giving of him, are comprifed in that Objet ; and not only the Aaings of God in Chrift towards us, but all his .A&ings towards the Perlon of Chrift himfelf unto the fame End belong thereunto. So as unto his Death; God fit him forth to be a Propitiation; Rom. 3. 24. He f járed him not, but delivered him up for us all, .Rom. 8. 32. And therein laid all our fins upon him, Ifa. 53. 6. So he was raifèd for our Juftification, Rom. 4. 25. And our Faith is in God who raifid him from the dead, Rom. io. 9. And in his Exaltation, Aft. 5.3 i. Which things compleat the record that God bath given of his Son, i Joh. 5. I o, I I, 12.
