It is patient waiting by Faith, that brings in the foil accom- plifhment of the Promifes, Heb. 6.12, 16. Wherefore there is but one Juf ification, and that of one kind only, wherein we are concerned in this Difputation. The Scripture makes mention of no more; and that is the Juftification of an un- godly perfon by Faith. Nor fhail we admit of the confide- ration of any other. For if there be a fecond 7uf1ification, it muff be of the fame kind with the firft or of another ; if it be of the fame kind, then the fame perfon is often juftified with the fame kind of Juftification, or at leafs more than once ; and fo on juft reafon ought to be often Baptized ; If it be not of the fame kind, then the fame perfon is juf kified be- fore God with two forts of Juftification, of both which the Scripture is utterly filent.
