Wherefore that it is the condition of our Juftification and fo antecedent unto it, is exprefly contrary unto that of the Apo le ; unto him that roorketh not, but believeth on him thatjufl'ifreththe ungodly, his Faith is counted unto him for Righteoufnef, Rom. 4..5. Nor is it the condition of the Covenant it felf, as that whereon the whole Grace of' the Covenant is fufpended.
