48 2 The nature of Yufiification, as declared comes on all Believers, is the Righteoufnefs of Chrift imputed unto them. And what can be more clearly affirmed or more evidently confirmed than this is by the Apoftle, I know nor. Yet is it more plainly expref d, v.19. For as by one mans Difobedience many were made Sinners; fo by the Obedience of one fhall many be made Righteous. This is well explained by Cyrillus Alexandrinus in loan. Lib. i r. Cap. 25. And this they could not be,but that they are efteemed to have finned in hits, whereon the guilt of his Sin was impu- ted unto them.Thistherefore he affirms,namely that the allual fin of Adam was fo the fin of all men, as that they were made fanners thereby, obnoxious unto Death and Condemnation.
