Here every one mutt chufe for himfelf. In the mean time, we thus argue. If our own Righteoufnef, and the Righteoufnefs which is of God by Faith ; or that which is through the Faith of Chrift Jefus (namely, the Righteoufnefs which God imputeth unto us, Roìn.4.6. Or the abundance of Grace and the gift of Righ- teoufnefs thereby, which we receive, Ron. 5. 17.) are oppo- fite, and incontinent in the Work of Juftification before God, then are we jufiified by Faith alone through the Imputati- on of the Righteoufnefs of Chrift unto us. The conie- 1luènt is plain from the removal of all other ways, caufes, means, and conditions of it, as inconfiftent with it. But the antecedent is exprefly the Apoltles; Not my own, but that of God.
