But this we fay, that if fuch Hypocrites difcover them- felves, in open fcandalous fins, which upon Examina- tion will prove to be ofa larger extent then fome fup- pofe, with refpe& unto fins of Omiffion as well as of Commiffion ; if they are not dealt withal according as the Difcipline ofChrift doth require in fuch cafes, the Church wherein they are allowed, efpecially iftheNum- ber of fuchPerfons be many, or the mofi, the Genera- lity ofthe People, and their fins notorious, doth fl'and in need of Reformation; as the Church of England Both acknowledge in the Commination again Sinners. The Generality of the Inhabitants of this Nati- on, are joyned and do belong unto the Church of Eng- land, in its 'Parocjial ./(ffémblies. (2.)
