They ·may have the fame Dotfrinal Knowledg of him with ' others ; but the fight of his Glory doth not confift the rein ; They may abide in the outw~rd performance of Duties towards him, as formerly; but yet all this while as unto the efpecial gracious communications of himfelf unto their fouls, and as unto a cheerful refrefbingview of his Glory, He may withdraw and hide himfelf from them. · AS under the fame outward difpenfations of ,the word, he dtth manifeft himfelf unto fotne, apd not unto others ; ( Ho?.v. is it that thou wilt manifeft thy fe?f unto us, andnot unto the world?
