Let men fay what they will, and pretend what they pleafe ; yet pra&ically they like tzar this way of Forgive- rids. I fhall therefore offer force fubfervient Confìderations, tending to the furtherance of your Souls, in the Acceptance of the Terms propofed. 1. This is the way, there are Terms of Gods own choof- ing; He found out this way, he ejtablißied it himfelf. He did it when all was loft, and undone. He did it not upon our defire, requeft, or propofal, but meerly of his own Accord, and why fhould we contend with him about it ?
