There he hath perpetuum domi- cilium, as the Greek, word imports ; He that believeth on me, faith our Saviour, out of his belly pall flow rivers of living water, job. 7.3 8. And what thefe rivers are, the next verfe tells us, This. he fpake of the Spirit, which they that believe on him fhould receive. Faith brings in the very fountain of Grace with all its streams into the Heart ; The Holy Ghoff is given to them that obey him, Ans. 5.32 ; Toiá 7H dde C, Titt, to them that hear him, in the Gofpel- command. ; that is, to them that believe; fo Beza and Calvin expound it, and fo the Syriack bath it. The Holy Ghoft works before to produce Faith and Repentance ; but it is not given to dwell in men until they believe. Fourthly, It is congruous to the order which is between Faith, 7uftification and Santi ification. Faith is in order before Juftification, the Scrip- ture is exprefs in it ; The rightecufn f of God is upon them that believe, Rom. 3. 22. All that believe are juftified, Aec. 13. 3 9 And we have believed that we might be juftified, Gal. 2. 16.
