Chapter to the Hebrews, are there afcribed to Faith: fo is Abels excellent Sacrifice.Enochs walking with God, Noabs holy fear of the deluge, Abrahams obedience in leaving hid Country, Mofes's felf- denial as to the Egyptian Court, The valour of fogne Worthies in fubduinn Kingdoms ; and the patience of others in Juffering torments for the truth. The reafon of which is, becaufe Faith is the firft mover, which fers all other Graces a- moving, the general under whofe condut all Graces corne forth in their courfes;therfore the honour of all is devolved upon it. Now, how Faith lets other Graces a- working, I (hall firft thew in a general way common to all of them, and then more particularly with refpec`t to fome Ipecial Graces. In general Faith lets other Graces in motion by fuch ways as thefe.
