Therefore though God fhewhim- felfe inhisdealingas offended: yet he argues,God maybe offended with me, but hecannot 'hate me, there is hope. Faith where it is inany ftrength, it will beleeve incontraries. In death, whenaman is turned to rottenneffe and duff, faith apprehends life,and refurreetion, and glory to come: it will truft inGods meanes,orno meanes,if it hath a pro- mile. Againe,he that trufts in God truly, will truft him forall things,and at all times. For all things; for faithneverchoofethand fingleth out its objea to beleeve this, and not that: for all comes from the fame God : therefore he that truttsGod for one thing, will truft him for all things.
