Watts - BX5200 .W3 1813 v.2

192 sT. PAUL'S nrvlÑa CGMMiSSiOrr: of these things moreme, neither count Imy life dear unto mme yyself, so that 'Mightfinish my course with joy, and theministry which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God. Now put all these things together, and can it be supposed that anyman, a wise, an ingenious, and learned man, faithful and sincere, an enemy to christianity, and of the name of Christ, should be so effectually convinced of the truth of the doctrine of Christ, and of thefacts which support it, as to spend his life in preaching this gospel, and to die for it, if hehad not abundant ground tobelieve it. And ifPaul believed it with such evidence, we may venture to believe it too.
