No, no but they are furnifhed by their learning, andparts, and acquirements, and fo of and from Man. And fo likewife, not onely is the Prophet deluded, but thepeoplealto ; for they have; joyned themfelves with thefe Prophets, and there they willflick, and their faith is pind upon theirfleeves : Oh fuch a man, he isafoundman, and he cannot erre, and they will heare no where elfe: And fo this Prophet (as thou takeft him to be)becomes Thy Pope, and thy Holy Father : for to him thougiveff heed, and hirn thou follorrejt, and obeyefl. And this is thegreat inchantment in our times , when men forfake Jefus Chrift the true and onlyTeacher,and depend upon men : This is a great mifchiefe, and agrievicus plague: but theworld is not fenfble thereof, but blelfe then-If-elves in this great evil : What (fay they) ¡hall we forfake our ,Nliniflers ? (hall we let the Gofpell, and thepreaching of the Word fall to the ground ? God forbid. As though menupheld the Gofpel , and men could teach the Gofpel : It is then Gofpel to thee, when Jefus Chrift makes it glad tidings in thy heart,andwhen there is nothing in Heaven and Earth more weilcorne to thee, and when thou haft f aren and laiddown thyfelfe, toreceive it : But till we come to fee that there is no other father, no other Mailer but f efus Chrift in all theworld , in heaven or earth , we are certainly inchantedand deluded, and are undera Jpiri- tuall CH f!RH: But be-it fo; then what realen is there, that we fhould heare
