Firft, what the holy Catho- lick Church is; to wit, a company of inertgathered together, not by fortune, or humane reafon and policy, or any ttsorthineffe of their own but by the inter mercy and goodneffe of God, fore - knowing, loving, predeftinating, and calling them, that he may juftifie and glorifie them through his Sonne Chrift. Secondly, thatpredeftination is not common to all, becaufe all are not called nor juftifyed; and therefore we further learn, that all (hall not be fa- yeti Thirdly, that the ele& cannot fall from grace and glory, becaufe Gods purpofe in bringing them through all the means to glory, is immutable and infallible.
