Were we diligent in ca!l:ing out all that Filthinefs and Superfluity of Naug,htinefi, which corrupts our Affections, and Difpofes the mind to abound in vain Imaginations; were our Hearts more taken offfrom the Love of the World, which is exduftve of a fenfe of Di· vine Love ; did we more meditate on Chrifl: and his Glory, ~e fl10uld more frequently enjoy th~fe corfl!aining_viftts of Ius Love, than now we do.
