The
fpirits
of
the
Saints
are
all
rayied fpirits high,
though they looke upon themfelves
as
unworthy
of
any
crum
of bread, yet they
account Heaven
and
Earth,
not fuflcient
to
be
their
portion.
But fecondly
(to
adde
two or
three
particulars,
to
(hew
you
a
bafe
poore
ipirired
man)
a
man
that
when he
lets about
any
excellent worke, he
is
prefently discouraged with every
little
difficultie,
here's
a
poore fpirited
Man.

thoughts.

force worke
that hath

excellency

meete
with
any
difficultie
in
it,
they
are
dead
in
the

they are
quite
difcouraged,and

and leave

worke by
forefeeing
of
difficultie, or
when he
meetes
with
a
difficultie he

difcouraged,
when he
meetes
with
any
oppoútion,
yea
if
it
be
but
a
meere

Some
that
have
begun
to fet
upon
Religion,
a mock,
a
fcorne, every
little
oppofition

prefently
difcourages
them,
and
they turne
off.
And others
in
any
publicke
bufinefs
that
concernes Church or
Common-
wealth,
though being
put
upon by
others, they fat
uponir
a
little,
but
if
they be oppofed
or find
it
difficult and hard
