Incouragement

to
walke
before
God
in holy
duties, there
fighs
and groans
un-
utterable are from
the
Holy
Gholl,
it
may
be thou caníl
not
ex-
preffe
thefe
defires
of thine,
as a
man
that
is
hunger-flarv'd he
is
not
able
to
expreiT'e
the
fulneffe
of
his
delires after bread
or
drink;
but
though
this be
thy cafe,
yet
know,
the Lord
having
fiirr'd
up thofe
unutterable delires
by his
Spirit, he
knows
the
meaning
of
his
Spirit.
Fifthly, Your delires and Gods
meete; There's
nothing in
the world that
God
doth more
freely
bellow then righteouf-
nefs,
the
Lord
is
more
free
and willing
to bellow the righte-
©ufneffe
of
his
Son(that
was
fpoke
to before)and the righteouf-
nefs
of
his
Spirit,then
he
is
willing
to
bellow
a
peice
of bread,
Thoumayeil
as
foone
have one from
God
as
the other,
for his
heart
is in one
more then in
the other:
thou
defirell that
thou
mightefl overcome
fin,
that thou mighteft ferve
the
Lord
in
holinefle
and
righteoufneffe,
and
God
delires the
fame
thing,
Gods heart
and
thy
heart meete together
in one.
Sixthly,
If
God
will
fill
vacuities in
nature,
and will hear
the
Ravens
when
they cry
unto him, will he not
fill
the emp-
tinefs
of
thy foul,.
God
hath
fo
order'd
things in
nature, that
there
shall
be
no
vacuity, Philofophers
fay,
That
the
world will
fooner
fall
to nothing.
then there
fhoold
be
the
leafy
emptineffeinthe
world,
but
it
mull be filled with fomething or
other.

the Lord
fo
appointed that
there
mull not be the
leafy
va-
cuity
in-
nature,
but there

be
fomething
to
fill
it,
furely
the
Lord
will
not
fuffer
a
vacuity in
an
immortal(
Soule,
but he
hath fomething
to
fill
that
foule
of thine
that
is
empty
for
the
prefent,and the Scripture tels
us
that
the Lord
fils
every living
thing with
his
ble[lìng, and !hall
not
a
foule
that
hungers
after
righteoufneffe, and the Image
of
God,
and
the grace of
the,
Spirit of
God,
fhailitnot
be fatisfied, (hall
God

the
hunger of
a
Raven, and give water
to
a
Raven
that
cryes, and !hall he not fatisfie
an
immortali
foule
that
hungers
after
that that
is
his
owne
Image, thar
he
might overcome
fin,
aad ferve biirt
in holtnefs and
righteoufnefs,
certainly the
Lord
will
fatisfie
thee.
Seventhly,
Yet
further the Lord bids
us,'
that
if
