fuch
a
loftie
flile
as
would
haue
filled

the
moll
learned

admiration, vet

forts and
conditions.
As
therefore
he
frameth
himfelfe
to cur
'hallow
capacitie in the
penning
ofthe
Scriptures,
and
fpeaketh
not
according
to
his vnfearchable
wifedome,
but
after
the man-
ner
of
men,or
elfe
no man, no
not
the moll
wife and
learned
could
vnderfland him

hee
thought
it
fit
to
fpeake
afwell
to
the
capacitie
of
the
fimple
as
the wife,
becaufe
the
know-
ledge
ofhis word
was
no
leffe neceffary
to
faluation
to
thefe
than to the other;and
in his mercie
and goodneffe
he
vouch

fafed
as
well
milke
to
the babe,as firong
meare
to
thofe
who
were
come
to more ripe
yeeres

knowledge

wifedome.
At which the
wife
and learned
haue
no reafon

be
of1'ended,feeing

faluation
of

deale to
God
as
ofanother,
and they may
with
greater
facilitie
vnderfland
the
Scriptures
being
plaine and-eafie,
which could not bee

they

Andyet
if
they
examine
the Scriptures
in
the
balance
of
a true
iudgement, they
may linde
foe
de
therein
contained
ftfortheir
owne
pallat and
talk
