Hefe words containan Argumentor reafon which the Apoflle ufeth, to prove that the weak Chriflian thould be born withal, and that men thould not judge, becaufe of the difference of meat amongft them. He lheweth that they did not with the negle& of the knowledge of any truth keep themfelves ignorant in this particular : but it was their weaknefs. The ftrong thould bear with the weak, and the weak thould not cenfure the ftrong : the reafon is, becaufe they agree inone etylt they propound onegeneral end to themfelves, that guides them inall tbei*&ions, they walk in one way,and in one path, and therefore they thould inthele thingsagree together.Thegeneral end at which they all aimed in their doings is the Lord : He that eatetb (faith he) eatetb to the Lord, andhe that eatethnot,to the Lordbeeateth not; that is,Itillhepropoundeth Godas his end,andthe pleating The fum of the words.
