My deare Ned -I was glad to reseufe your letter, for heatherto you haue bine the great comfort of my life, which I bales my God for ; but, my deare Ned, are you willing to hide your being ill from me, whoo only desires to partake with you in all that befalls you ? My deare Ned, when you are ill, my prayers are more for you, and the Lord, I hope, will heare me in his Sonne, in home He alone is well pleased. My deare Ned, I hope this is but an ague, which are very much every weare; be carefull of your self, keepe a spare dyet; and, my deare Ned, O that I weare with you; but this is my com- fort, my God is with you, and He cane ease you, and vphoold you, andpresarue you, and I trust He will doo so. Your father is now at Heareford, and will not returne tell to morrow; but I can not well stay so long from sending to you, thearefore I haue made hast to dispacth this barer to you, and hope he will bringe me wellcome newes of your health, but, if otherways, I hope both you and I shall willingly submit to beare the hand of our God.
