Fourthly,
Blefled
are .they
that hunger
and
thiriî,
though
they do not feele
the
righteoufnefs that they
defre,
they
are
blei
ed,
becaufe in
the
covenant
of
grace
God
accepts
of
the
will
for
the
deed.
Now
they
having righteoufnefs
ni
nifefle.d
by their'
delire,
they
have force
principles
of
it,
they
are
there-
fore within the Covenant of grace, and being within
the
Cove
-
nant of
grace, they
have
this bleflìng,
that God
accepts of
the
will
for
the
deed
;
I
befeech
you
confider
of this, It's
a
great
poynt, the
underflmding how
this
priviledge
Both
come, of
accepting
the
will for
the deed. Thofe that
are
under the lair
have
no inch
priviledge,
the
law
requires perfect obedience,
or
elfe caflsaway all,
and
therefore for men
and women
that
are ignorant
and
graceleffe,
have
nothing
of Chrift
in
them,
they
yet
think
that God
will
accept
of
their
defires;
of
the
will
for
the eleed,but they
are mifiakén, this
is
a
priviledge that be-
longs
to
fuch
as
are
in
the Covenant of
grace,.
and
it
is a
f
ur-
chafe
of Jefus
Chriflthat
God fhould
accept
of the
will
for
the
deed.
Now
thofe who have
fuch
a kind
of
hunger
and rhitfl
after
righteoufnefs manifefled
as
before, they
have force
prin-
ciples
of
righteoufnefs
in
them,
and fo are
under the
Coven
liar.
of grace, they
have
this
priviledge that God
accepts
of
the
will for
the
deed,
efpecially
if
that
hunger
and
thirfl
after
this
righteoufnefs
of
grace,be joyned
with
the
hunger and
third- af-
ter
the
righteoufnefs
of Chrifl, that
before

been

to
you
:
Many
people
who fay,
they
would fain do
bette
then
they.do,yet they never
under
floodwhat it
.was
to
hunger
after
the
righteoufnefs
of
Chrifl,
and
fo
are
not
.acquainted with the
Covenant
of grace,
they
cannot have
the comfort
of
this
bief-
fednefs,
but
fuch
as
having
bunged
and
thirfled after
the
righ-
teoufnefs
of Chrifl,
and
fo
manifefled that they are
acnuainted
with the Covenant of
grace,
and now
'hunger
and
thi tt after
the
righteoufnefs of
Sanctification,,
they
may
h,reh;'
affure
themfelves, that the
blelling
of the
Covenant
of
grace
belongs
to
them,
and
that
God
accepts
of the
will for
the
deed
:
Now
this
is
a
irighty
blefling, for
is is a
help
to
the
foul in
the
nnidfl
of all infirmities
;
'though,I
find
never
fuch want
of ,righreouf
nefs,
yet
having
húngring and thirfling
delres
after ;it,
i'may
comfort
