anfwere,
that
howfoeuer
they cannot
perfortne thefe duties
as
they
would,
yet they
mull doe them
as
well
as
they
can;
yea
and
the
more they
are
incuinbred and
troubled,
the more
earnef}
and
inflant
mull they
bee
in
doing
of
them.
Forthefe
exercifes
are
our
bell
fpirituaIl
weapons,whereby
wee repell
the
force
of
the
enemie:and
therefore
let not
Satan
perfwade vs,
to
call away
our
weapons
in
hope
of
peace,
becaufe we
cannot
manage
them according to
our delire, for
then
being
vtterly difar-
med,he
will
obtains
an ealic-vi6torie,
and make

his
flaues.
They
are
the ordinance
of God,
and
meanes
of
faluation,
which
he
hath inioyned
vs
to vfe; and therefore
though
we
find
no prefent
good,nor
haue
any
other
reafon
to

them,
yet let this be fufftcient,thatGod
bath
commanded them, and confequently
